PH Consulate General in Milan Celebrates International Women’s Day

The Philippine Consulate General in Milan celebrated International Women’s Day on 08 March 2022. A special lane for processing of passports and documents was opened for female Filipino community members.  A photobooth was put-up where ladies and children can have their photos taken and tokens like facemasks, keychains and eco bags were given-away

As part of the celebration, the Consulate General’s Gender and Development (GAD) and Cultural Section jointly organized an acrylic painting workshop entitled “Easing-up with Brushstrokes.” The workshop was conducted by Filipino Women’s League president Mercedita De Jesus and participated in by officers, staff and attached agency personnel of the Consulate.
