Los Angeles – The Philippine Consulate General joined the Filipino-American community in supporting the Ganap Performing Arts Singers during its benefit concert dubbed, “Music and More! with the Ganap Singers,” on 04 January 2020 at the Church of Scientology, Burbank, California.

The group’s repertoire included gospel songs, Original Pilipino Music (OPM) and English pop songs, which they rendered with accompanying choreography.

The group is slated to hold a series of concerts in the United States of America to raise funds for their education. The Los Angeles leg was a collaborative project of Filipino-American Arts and Culture (FilAm ARTS), and the Philippine Patrons of the Arts USA.

Ganap, a three-year old choir based in Quezon City in the Philippines, is a recipient of the Manuel L. Quezon Gawad Parangal for Most Outstanding Institution (Culture and the Arts). Its members are underprivileged children who are scholars of the Quezon City Local Government.
