Souvenirs, food products and halal cuisine for athletes, guests and visitors at the 30th Southeast Asian Games are now available at the Go Lokal! Store and Halal Food Hub located at the East Commercial Building, New Clark City (NCC) in Capas, Tarlac.

Go Lokal! is a flagship program of the Department of Trade & Industry in partnership with major retailers and mall owners to help MSMEs sell their products to the mainstream market.

A brainchild of DTI Secretary Ramon Lopez, the Go Lokal! and Halal Hub facility at the NCC is a collaboration with the private sector, notably the Bases Conversion Development Authority (BCDA) and PhilExport to make available Halal cuisine and Philippine souvenirs and food products, including OTOP, Likha ng Central Luzon and Maranao Products in time for the opening of the 30th SEA Games.

The launching of the Go Lokal! Pop Up store and Halal Food hub were led by DTI Undersecretary Abdulgani M. Macatoman and Mrs. Mufaidah Macatoman, Vice President Arrey Perez of BCDA, Director Marievic Bonoan of DTI Bureau of Domestic Trade Promotion, Assistant Regional Director Zoriňa Aldana of DTI Region 3 and Provincial Director Elenita R. Ordonio of DTI Pampanga.
