Eat Bulaga signs anew with GMA Network

TAPE Inc. and GMA Network officially sealed the renewal of their blocktime agreement for the airing of hit noontime show, Eat Bulaga, in a contract signing held on February 1.

Ferre, AVP Production Helen Atienza-Dela Cruz, AVP Production-Studio Operation Sheila Macariola-Ilacad, Director Poochie Rivera—came in full force to witness yet another momentous event.

GMA Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Atty. Felipe L. Gozon expressed his admiration for the show and its hosts, “Ako’y talagang hangang-hanga dito sa grupo ng Eat Bulaga na walang kupas, kaya matagal pa ito. ‘Yang tandem nina Tito, Vic, at Joey, at ‘yung mga susunod, mahabang-mahaba pa ang itatakbo ng programang ito.

Meanwhile, GMA Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Felipe S. Yalongis happy for Eat Bulaga’s continued success.  “Tayo’y natutuwa dahil nag-sign up ulit sa atin ang Eat Bulaga. It’s an exciting show, it’s the longest continuous running show in the world with the original hosts, Tito, Vic, and Joey. We’re very happy that they continue to be with the Kapuso Network,” he shared.

Also present during the contract signing were GMA’s First Vice President for Program Management Jose Mari R. Abacan, and Vice President for Corporate Affairs and Communications Angela Javier Cruz.
