SM Supermalls Showcases Anna Vergel RS artworks -

The multi-disciplinary artist Anna Vergel RS, an alumna of the UP College of Fine Arts, is an avid golfer.

SM Supermalls has long supported the growth and careers of local Filipino artists.

Among the artists that SM Supermalls proudly features along the hallways of their Corporate HQ at the SM Mall of Asia Complex as well as their corporate website is acclaimed visual artist Anna Vergel RS.

A proud Iskolar ng Bayan and graduate of the University of the Philippines College of Fine Arts, Vergel RS’ works are cited by SM as exploring “themes of mythology, transformation, and femininity…. Her recent works continue her exploration of strength and reinvention—on canvas and in life.”

The “Lucky Blue” piece “features bold strokes of intense yellow against fragmented blues and grays. The composition suggests an energetic interplay, reminiscent of a vivid sky meeting a tumultuous sea, leaving a strong evocation of raw emotion and natural force.”

This piece, titled “Giving Back,” “created in a specific size, was produced for a limited group of ten individuals. It was gifted as a sincere expression of the artist’s gratitude, reflecting meaningful connections formed over the years,” according to SM.

“Culmination” is an “impactful abstract” that “features a central, radiant gold form seemingly emerging from a swirl of expressive black and grey brushstrokes. The minimalist palette, dominated by white, black, and gold, creates an engaging sense of energy and focus,” declared SM.
