The Birth of Modenz
Modenz Upholstery and Curtain is currently owned and operated by Mr. Dennis Babadilla. In 1993, Dennis chose the path in working as a Carpenter at Bed Master Furniture in Caloocan. This gave him the perseverance to learn the fundamentals on how to construct, repair, restore sofa’s and bed frames. In the year 1995, Dennis became an upholsterer in Dubai and learned how to operate sewing machines to create covers and designs. Dubai was the country where he had mastered the art of making sofa and beds. Having to make a decision to relocate back to the Philippines, Dennis felt that it was best to put his own business.

Modenz Upholstery and Curtains started in May 14, 2014. In about two years’ time they were able to create a network of clients from different parts of Luzon.

Specialties
•Designing and creating tufted sofa chairs and bed frames
•Repair and customize any kind of sofa
•Bed
•Dining Chair
•Sofa Bed
•Seat cover
•Curtains and Blinds
•Customizing curtains and loose covers
•Car seats, covers and upholstery

The Repairing Process

Here’s the flow
First Step: Once Modenz receives an inquiry or request for repair – they can either pick up or deliver the item to their workshop.
Second Step: Modenz’s staff will then check the item and give the client sample materials or fabrics that can be used.
Third Step: Once the client has decided on what fabric is to be used, Modenz will then come up with a quotation.
Fourth Step: Actual repairing will depend on the item and availability of material. If it’s just a simple chair, the waiting process would take about 1-2 days. If the client decides to bring in a sofa – 5-7 days. Each repair will depend on the requirements.

Excellent Quality Service
Modenz believes in the idea of great service in order to keep clients satisfied from beginning to the end. Additionally, the company also believes in establishing a close connection with their clients in exchange for good leads. As an obligation, Modenz assures to handle all possible problems to serve and meet their needs.

Offering free comprehensive measuring and fitting services, Modenz provides clients a variety of different fabrics to choose from. Quality is of importance to the company, from the materials used, workmanship and service provided. They guarantee materials like good lumber, mahogany/gimilina, and Uratex foams. Class A upholstery fabric and leather from trusted supplier is also an option.

“We don’t just repair, but we customize. We do what client wants, but we do give suggestions as well” as said by Mr. Dennis Babadilla.
