Philippine Pavilion at the 17th International Architecture Exhibition in Venice opens to the public

In an opening-day visit to the Philippine Pavilion at the 17th International Architecture Exhibition – la Biennale di Venezia on 22 May 2021, Philippine Consul General to Milan Bernadette Therese C. Fernandez led Consulate General’s officers and staff and Philippine Honorary Consul to Venice, Avv. Giorgia di Biasi.

Curators, Arch. Sudarshan V. Khadka, Jr. and Alexander Eriksson Furunes, together with representatives from the National Commission for Culture and Arts (NCCA) were present to discuss the details of the structure.

The exhibit is curated by the architects with the assistance of Framework Collaborative which include members of Gawad Kalinga Enchanted Farm Community.

The NCCA, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), and the Office of Deputy Speaker and Antique Congresswoman Loren Legarda, in cooperation with the Metropolitan Museum of Manila, virtually opened the Philippine Pavilion exhibition on 20 May 2021.
