As the Philippines observed Good Friday on April 10, late in the afternoon, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) continued to serve—welcoming home 275 OFWs from London comprised of 128 Filipino crew of MV Oceana and 147 Filipino crew of MV Aurora.

Magsaysay Maritime Corporation, the local manning agency of the aforementioned vessels, in coordination with the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) and the Philippine Embassy in London, made the arrangements for the repatriation efforts.

Representatives of OWWA, Department of Health, Bureau of Quarantine and Manila International Airport Authority, also joined in welcoming the repatriates.

All 275 Filipinos underwent the appropriate medical protocols as required by the DOH and BOQ and will undergo home quarantine as approved by the DOH-BOQ.
