EAST RUTHERFORD, NEW JERSEY – Attendees of the 3rd Annual (Philippine) Pasko in America at American Dream in this city will have the chance to win one of two luxury vacation packages from Astoria Hotels and Resorts in the Philippines, each valued at $500. The sweepstakes offer winners their choice between a 3-day/2-night stay at Astoria Current Boracay with breakfast for two, or a 3-day/2-night stay at Astoria Palawan with breakfast for two.
To enter, festival-goers can visit the Astoria Hotels and Resorts booth at the event and fill out a sweepstakes stub. The drawing will take place at 3 p.m. on December 6, 2025. Winners must be present to accept the packages; absence will disqualify entry.
Additionally, Astoria Hotels and Resorts is offering a special $99 promotional rate available to all U.S. residents. Details can be accessed by scanning the QR code at their booth. Event emcees will announce the promotion throughout the day.
Now celebrating its 3rd year, Pasko in America is set to take place on December 6, 2025, from 12 noon to 5 p.m. at Court A of American Dream. Hosted by Fiesta in America, the event unites Filipino American organizations and communities across the northeast for a joyful holiday celebration that embraces Filipino heritage and festive spirit.
This family-friendly event will include children’s games, a parol display showcase, opportunities for community networking, inspiring Christmas choral performances and surprise guest performers. Admission is free, welcoming over 6,000 Filipino Americans from New Jersey, New York, and nearby states, and nearly 60,000 visitors at American Dream to partake in the celebration.
To millions of Filipino Americans, the parol or lantern is more than just a holiday decoration; it is a beacon of cultural heritage, symbolizing faith and a connection to home and community. This year, Pasko in America will celebrate this iconic tradition in an unforgettable way.
Festival highlights
Parol exhibit: Starting at 12 noon, the festival will open with a spectacular Parade of Lanterns at Court A in American Dream. Each parol will be showcased onstage.
Community participation: Filipino community groups, alumni associations, schools, and networks from New York, New Jersey, and nearby states are invited to participate. Each organization can submit a parol in one of three categories: traditional, eco-friendly, or modern, encouraging creativity and the rich diversity of Filipino culture.
