Tourism Seminar for Russian Tour Operators hosted by Philippine Embassy

Moscow, Russia — The Philippine Embassy in Moscow hosted a tourism seminar for top Russian tour companies on June 25, 2019 at the Embassy Chancery. The tourism seminar was presented by Philippine Airlines, in partnership with DMC Uni-Orient and Spectrum, and aims to promote the best tourism destinations throughout the Philippines.

Thirty representatives from different Russian tour companies attended the seminar and listened to presentations given by Philippine Airlines, DMC Uni-Orient and Spectrum.

Speakers discussed the uniqueness of the Philippine geography and highlighted several exciting tourism spots such as Boracay, Palawan, Cebu, and the Mountain Province.  They emphasized that the Philippines offers a diverse range of tourism activities for all types of tourists such as sun and beach, diving, adventure and cultural themed tours.

As part of its promotional efforts, the Embassy’s Economic Section distributed tourism materials such as maps and brochures, and also served guests with popular Filipino snack foods such as Boy Bawang, tropical farm banana chips, natural Health stevia, coco sugar, Gourmet Farm herbal teas, nuts and cacao nibs.

The Embassy is set to hold several other economic diplomacy and trade promotion events throughout the year with the help of partners from the private sector.
