Madrid, Spain – The Philippine Embassy in Madrid in its Sentro Rizal library published an online catalog of resources on March 6, 2020.

The digital indexing was made possible with the assistance of Filipino language assistants working at various Spanish elementary and high schools in Madrid, through the Spanish Ministry of Education’s Auxiliares de Conversación program.

The group catalogued more than a thousand books in the Embassy’s collection, beginning from November 2019 to March 2020.

At a ceremony, thanking the volunteers for their hard work, Philippine Ambassador to Spain Philippe J. Lhuillier remarked on the volunteers’ sincere and untiring efforts to contribute something positive and lasting to the Philippines, even when they’re living abroad.
