At the heart of Hotel Sogo’s corporate social responsibility program lies one simple promise: to extend care beyond the walls of its hotels. Through Sogo Cares, that promise comes alive — reaching communities with medical aid, relief support, and educational supplies such as learning materials across the Philippines

Bringing Health Closer to the People

For many Filipinos, access to healthcare remains a daily challenge. That’s why Sogo Cares continues to bring doctors, medicines, and volunteers straight to the people who need them most.

From Tarlac to Cabanatuan, Pampanga to Naga, all the way to Quezon Province, Batangas, and Pangasinan, thousands lined up to receive free medical check-ups, consultations, and medicines. For a farmer in Quezon, a tricycle driver in Cabanatuan, or a fisherfolk family in Batangas, these missions meant relief, reassurance, and renewed hope.

In just 20 months, over 30,000 patients benefited from Sogo Cares’ 90 medical mission sites nationwide — a testament to the group’s dedication to healthcare access for all.

Standing Strong in Times of Calamity

When disasters strike, Sogo Cares is there. From typhoon-hit families in Cebu to flood-stricken communities in Davao, and from affected residents in Cagayan de Oro to indigenous peoples in Batangas and Mindoro, relief packs, food, water, and blankets were swiftly delivered.

Each donation wasn’t just about providing essentials — it was about showing solidarity. For evacuees who lost their homes and IP families cut off from resources, these relief drives reminded them that they were not alone. In 2024–2025 alone, more than 80,000 individuals found support through Sogo Cares’ calamity donations.

Nurturing the Future

Education also forms a pillar of Sogo Cares’ advocacy. Through Brigada Eskwela, the group has supported more than 50,000 students and teachers across 100 schools, ensuring that classrooms are clean, safe, and ready for learning. Beyond providing cleaning tools and educational materials, volunteers from Hotel Sogo also join hands with parents and teachers to repaint classrooms, repair facilities, and organize supplies.

These efforts help ease the burden on schools while creating a brighter and more inspiring environment for learners to thrive.

A Legacy of Compassion

From January 2024 to August 2025, more than 200,000 Filipinos have felt the impact of Sogo Cares. Behind each number is a story: a sick child given free medicine, a mother holding a relief pack after a flood, a teacher receiving cleaning supplies for her classroom.

These stories weave together one message: Sogo Cares is more than a program — it’s a movement of compassion.

For Hotel Sogo, caring does not end at the doors of its hotels. It extends to every community, every family, and every Filipino it can reach. Because true to its promise:

“So Clean… So Good!” — and always, So Caring.
