Now going on the third day of repatriations for this week, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) welcomed 248 crew members of the MSC Divina who were repatriated from Miami, Florida, United States of America.
MSC Cruises, the manning agency of MSC Divina, chartered the flight that brought the repatriates from the non-COVID-19 infected ship home—arriving at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 1 at 6:00 a.m.
The Bureau of Quarantine performed the mandatory medical inspection prior to the seafarers being allowed to disembark and head to the nearby quarantine facility. The Philippine National Police and the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration were also present to provide assistance to the newly arrived batch of Filipinos.
