Technology game changer LG Philippines partnered up with global content provider Netflix in bringing an immersive experience at the Seven Super Rooms, last February 16 at the Shooting Gallery Studios, Makati.

To launch its brand new original series, The Umbrella Academy, guests were able to test their wits and be a superhero for a day with a series of mind-boggling challenges at the Seven Super Rooms.

Like the name suggests, guests overcame puzzles related to the dysfunctional mindset of the characters from The Umbrella Academy. To unlock a room, LG OLED TV ambassadors – model and actress Sanya Lopez, actor Benjamin Alves, Binibining Pilipinas International 2016 Nicole Cordoves, singer and director Khalil Ramos, actor Gil Cuerva and vlogger Dani Barretto – replicatedthe hero’s superpowers amplified by the super-tech provided by LG Philippines.

Some of the challenges involved using LG OLED TV’s AI capability to give out commands and turn it to reality, igniting a karaoke song. It also used LG’s Crystal Clear sound to concoct the perfect cocktail while listening to a hero’s instructions.

Making the whole experience more immersive and true-to-life, LG OLED 4K TVs were installed in the rooms. As the world’s #1 OLED TV, LG powers up the Seven Super Rooms with cutting edge display and stunning visuals, intensified by cinema-quality Dolby Atmos sound. LG OLED TVs flaunt the clearest and most detailed pictures with realistic color and ultra-fast response times.

“We’re excited to partner up with Netflix once again in providing Filipinos unique experiences through our state-of-the-art technology,” said LG Philippines VP for Home Entertainment Mr. Jongnam An. “We’re bringing the entertainment from onscreen to on-ground, staying true to our commitment in bringing memorable experiences through innovations.”

You can now stream The Umbrella Academy on Netflix, and truly immerse yourself in the stories you love  with either an LG 4K OLED TV and Nano Cell TV. The story revolves around estranged siblings reunited by their father’s death. With extraordinary superpowers, they are on a mission to unlock shocking family secrets and save humanity from an apocalyptic threat. The series stars Ellen Page, Mary J. Blige and a stellar ensemble cast.

And because Netflix is best watched with LG TVs, every purchase of the LG 4K OLED TV and Nano Cell TV until March 15, 2019 comes with six months of Netflix Premium access. With this amazing offer, you and your family can now enjoy The Umbrella Academy and all the other Netflix series and movies with a 4K UHD plan.
