Manila, Philippines – November 5, 2024 – Marriott Manila lit up the holiday season with the much-anticipated Christmas Tree and Marriott Bonvoy Lantern Lighting Ceremony, dubbed Paskonstelasyon: Make It a Bright and Meaningful Motion. This event marks the start of Marriott International’s Global Customer Appreciation Week (GCAW) and the 15th Anniversary of Marriott Manila.
The 20-foot-tall Christmas tree at Marriott Manila is a stunning centerpiece adorned in elegant silver and blue. Its design incorporates shimmering ornaments, frosted branches, and glittering accents that reflect the spirit of the holidays. The tree features intricate details like miniature houses and hot air balloons, nestled among glowing fairy lights, creating a whimsical Christmas village theme.
Guests were greeted with Christmas carols by Tuloy Foundation Chorale.
Paskonstelasyon, a portmanteau of two wonderful words, Pasko the Tagalog translation of the word Christmas, and Konstelasyon or constellation which means a group of stars forming a recognizable pattern. The Marriott brands of hotels is growing its presence in the Philippines, currently with 10 Marriott Hotel brands in the country, hence, a constellation of pieces of #MarriottMoments awaiting to be created, strengthened by its unifying travel program, the Marriott Bonvoy.
This year’s Paskonstelasyon: Make It a Bright and Meaningful Motion was an evening filled with music and dancing while supporting a greater cause alongside Bereber Sayaw PD, a foundation that harnesses the power of dance to help individuals with Parkinson’s Disease.
Paskonstelasyon is a holistic way to celebrate the holiday seasons with Marriott International’s brands of hotels. Making it even more meaningful is Marriott Manila’s milestone year that reflects the brand’s gratitude and commitment to giving back through various initiatives, anchored by the Marriott Worldwide Business Councils – Philippines.
Pasasalamat Art Exhibit
Marriott Manila celebrates Filipino artistry and the spirit of generosity with The Art of Giving exhibit at The Link by Marriott. This exhibit is in collaboration with Rotary Club Passport One and One Gallery which recently launched a new collection entitled Pasasalamat. Part of the proceeds from every art piece sold helps the chosen beneficiary of Marriott Worldwide Business Councils – Philippines.
Marriott Manila welcomed kids from Pasay Social Welfare Development Department for an afternoon of fun and activities with The Golden Santa storytelling and coloring activity with Internet Personality, Mika Pardo.
