Philippine Embassy in Riyadh conducts 1st overseas voting outreach in Dhahran

Riyadh — The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh successfully conducted its First Overseas Voting (OV) Registration Outreach for the year 2020 at Double Tree Hotel in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia from 17 to 18 January 2020.

The two-day registration outreach was conducted in parallel with the Embassy-On-Wheels Consular Outreach headed by Consul General to Riyadh Christopher Patrick T. Aro. The OV Team was able to register 128 new overseas voters, 265 certifications, 59 reactivations, three Transfer of Records and 70 Transfer of records with Reactivation.

The next schedule of Overseas Voting Mobile Registration will be held in Al Khobar, KSA on 31 January to 01 February 2020.

The Philippine Embassy invites all Filipinos in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to register as overseas voters to be able to vote in the Presidential Elections in May 2022.
