PH Participates in Business Meeting in Lyon

PARIS 05 October 2018 – In its goal to promote investment and business opportunities in the Philippines, representatives from the Philippine Trade and Investment Center (PTIC)-Paris participated in a business meeting organized by the Les Conseillers du Commerce Extérieur de la France in Lyon on 12 September 2018.

Around 70 companies doing various businesses across the Auvergne Rhône-Alps region attended the event. They exchanged information on investment and business opportunities in the Philippines, and shared testimonials on their positive experiences doing business in the country and with Filipinos.

At the end of the meeting, a number of the companies have expressed their interest in doing business in the country, particularly in the fields of healthcare and manpower services.

Philippine Honorary Consul in Lyon Hervé de Malliard pledged to organize more business meetings between Lyon-based and Philippine companies, encouraged by the continued interest of French companies in the Philippines.
