Jakarta — The Philippine Department of Tourism, in cooperation with PT Intrareps, organized and hosted a lunch and a Business to Business (B2B) Session with 40 representatives from Indonesia Travel Trade Partners and Airlines on 20 February 2020 in Jakarta.
Department of Tourism representative Buena Carla F. Zaldivia presented the 2020 tourism campaign of the Philippines featuring the Philippines as the “World’s Leading Diving Destination” by the World Travel Awards 2019. During her presentation, Ms. Zaldivia emphasized that the Philippines received 8.26 million tourist arrivals in 2019.
Ms. Zaldivia encouraged the guests for more collaboration to increase Indonesian inbound travels to the Philippines for 2020, noting the shared culture between the Philippines and Indonesia.
