RIYADH 28 January 2019 — To promote Philippine products and brands, the Philippine Embassy in Riyadh hosted a dialogue on 13 January 2019  between the representatives of Kasamar Holdings, a Dubai-based company, and select members of the Filipino community in Riyadh to talk about the possibility of bringing Philippine restaurant brands such as Max’s Restaurant, Teriyaki Boy, Dencio’s, and Sizzlin’ Steak into Saudi Arabia.

The successful entry of Philippine brands into the Saudi Arabian food and beverage market is a great opportunity to promote Filipino cuisine and to help Philippine companies make a mark in the international scene. This would also allow Filipinos working and living in the Kingdom to savor a taste of home while being away from home.
