National Museums to reopen

National Museum of the Philippines (NMP) will reopen its regional, area, and site museums throughout the country beginning on March 13.

Based on the announcement made public by the NMP, the following museums will be open from Tuesdays to Sundays, excluding religious holidays, with morning session from 9:00 AM to 12:00 NN, and an afternoon session from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM:

LUZON

·        Vigan, Ilocos Sur

·        Uyugan, Batanes

·        Callao Caves Site, Penablanca, Cagayan

·        Kiangan, Ifugao

·        Angono Petroglyphs Site, Binangonan, Rizal

MIMAROPA

·        Boac, Marinduque

·        Tabon Caves Site, Quezon, Palawan

VISAYAS

·        Iloilo City

·        Tagbilaran, Bohol

MINDANAO

·        Zamboanga City

·        Butuan City

·        Jolo, Sulu

Walk-in visitors are welcome subject to appropriate limits on capacity to maintain physical distancing. Only those persons aged 10 to 65 years, including those with disabilities, shall be admitted. Visitors must bring identification showing birthdate or any proof of age, and comply to minimum health protocols such as wearing of face masks and face shields.
