In celebration of Pride Month, lighting event held at the Cultural Center of the Philippines

The Cultural Center of the Philippines joined in the celebration of PRIDE month by featuring the rainbow colors of the LGBTQ+ in a lighting event held until June 28, 2020 at the façade of the CCP Main Building.

LEE filters were used to color the light beam, and 7 pairs of PAR bulbs (Parabolic Aluminized Reflector bulb with a highly directional light beam used mostly in Theater Lighting) for the pillars.  For the CCP façade, 18 PAR bulbs were used along with color filter.

The Technical team handling the lighting is under the guidance of Ariel Yonzon and Ricardo Eric Cruz.

Pride Month is celebrated every June to promote self-affirmation, dignity, equality, and increased visibility of the LGBTQ+ community.
