The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), through the Office of the Undersecretary for Migrant Workers’ Affairs (OUMWA), continues its repatriation efforts by welcoming home distressed Filipinos from the United Arab Emirates.

The latest batch of repatriates, comprised of 274 Overseas Filipinos, landed at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport at around 3:21 pm aboard Emirates Flight EK 332.

The 274 Filipino repatriates underwent the appropriate medical protocols upon arrival as required by the Department of Health-Bureau of Quarantine. They would also be required to undergo quarantine in accordance with the guidelines established by the Inter-Agency Task Force.

The whole-of-nation approach to repatriation involves the DFA coordinating with the Philippine Coast Guard, Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), Department of Health and the Philippine National Police.
