Prague – “We are very happy to see more Czechs getting interested in visiting the Philippines,” said Philippine Ambassador to the Czech Republic Ombra T. Jainal when Holiday World 2020 opened to the general public on 15 February 2020.
Visitors, with their families and friends, flocked to the Philippine booth to learn about the destinations in the Philippines, sights, activities, entry and stay regulations, travel time, accommodation, among others.
For visitors who had been to the Philippines, they came to share their beautiful experiences in the islands and to find out new destinations for future visits. “We’ve been to the Philippines many times and we want to know what else we can see,” said a Czech couple.
Ambassador Jainal earlier expressed the same sentiments with some of the major travel and tours agencies when he visited their stands at the tourism trade fair on 14 February 2020. CK Livingstone, China Tours, and Nomád conveyed to the Ambassador that their tours to the Philippines are always sold out. According to them, Czech tourists are amazed at the natural wonders of the Philippines, especially in Palawan, Cebu, Bohol, and Boracay. Czechs also appreciate the man-made Banaue Rice Terraces and the culture and traditions of Filipinos in Northern Luzon.
