The Philippine Embassy in Australia sent its well wishes to the Government of Australia on the occasion of the Philippines-Australia Friendship Day on May 22.
In a video, Philippine Ambassador to Australia Hellen B. De La Vega shared her message of congratulations through a video released on the Embassy’s Facebook page.
“Today, the Embassy dedicates the celebration of Philippines-Australia Friendship Day to the strength and resilience of Filipino communities all over Australia, and the Filipino and Australian health professionals at the front lines,” Ambassador De La Vega said in the video message.
The video also featured greetings from Mr. Luke Gosling OAM MP, Federal Member for Solomon, Northern Territory and Vice-Chair of the Australia Philippines Parliamentary Group; and Ms. Carmen Garcia, President of the Filipino Communities Council of Australia (FILCCA).
