Now on its 3rd year, the World of Consumer Electronics Expo or simply WOCEE 2019 is back to deliver another compelling presentation of the latest innovations in consumer technology. This time around, WOCEE seeks to offer visitors a chance to “Experience the Future” as it showcases 250 exhibitors who will each demonstrate some of the most cutting-edge products and services in the market.
As WOCEE strives to provide a comprehensive trade show experience, this year’s show returns with its signature pocket events and activities that are geared towards providing a platform for the enrichment of knowledge. One of these show highlights is the Tech Talk, a series of free seminars that provide visitors a chance to pick the brains of select industry leaders and practitioners.
At the core of Tech Talk is its objective of addressing various issues that concern the local consumer technology industry. And for this year’s edition, resource speakers hailing from different B2C enterprises will be shedding light on the topic of “Integrating Technology in the Philippine Retail Space”.
Slated to happen on September 26, registration for the seminars will be available from 11:00am to 12:30pm. Afterwards, the seminars will promptly begin at 1:00pm and will run until 6:00pm. Kicking off the series at 1:00pm to 1:45pm is Art Samaniego, Editor for Manila Bulletin’s Tech News and Business News, who will be conducting his lecture on cybersecurity. At 2:00 to 2:45 pm, Crime Safety Specialist Shamir Rajadurai will be sharing his insights on crime preventive measures. At 3:00 to 3:45pm, Country COO of Microsoft Philippines Christian Lim will provide an enlightening discussion about trust and privacy in the digital age.
At 4:00 to 4:45pm, Head of Business Development of Lazada Philippines Petrus Paolo Carbonell will lead a presentation on the state of e-commerce in the Philippines. Last but not the least, happening at 5:00 to 5:45pm will be a conversation about trends in digital marketing for entrepreneurs and retailers by Apprentice Asia Grand Winner and Founder and Managing Director of JY Consultancy and Ventures Jonathan Yabut.
The Tech Talk seminar will be moderated by ANC’s The Final Pitch host, Mr. John Aguilar.
