1CISP, MySolid Team Up For Creative Entrepreneurship Initiatives

The 1Cooperative Insurance System of the Philippines (1CISP), the largest cooperative insurance organization in the country, and MySolid Technologies and Devices Corporation (MySolid), makers of MyPhone, have entered into a memorandum of agreement for creative entrepreneurship initiatives under the Brown and Proud Movement.

Under the landmark partnership agreement signed last July 26 at the Green Sun Hotel, MySolid will provide Learning Systems Modules under its Masterclass Program for creative entrepreneurship to 1CISP’s members, training them in branding and marketing fundamentals for a new breed of Filipino businesses.

1CISP will also distribute to its members Brown Phone units, a new product line under the MyPhone flagship brand which will carry the MyBarko app, an online business portal where members can buy and sell cooperative-made products. The app will also carry 1CISP’s insurance products.

1CISP’s Brown and Proud collaboration with MySolid is part of the insurance cooperative’s digital transformation initiatives and will involve over 2,000 cooperatives, with 700,000 insured members nationwide.
