Flexi Finance partners with child-focused NGO World Vision

Every loan with Flexi Finance Asia Inc. will now help pay for the children’s education and well-being as the Cebu-based financial services firm announced its partnership with World Vision, a child-focused relief, development and advocacy agency.

“We are proud to announce our partnership with World Vision. Flexi Finance strives to be a socially responsible company. Together as one community, we can help the lives of Filipino children and their families,” said Ronnie Katona, Chief Executive Officer of Flexi Finance.

The international non-profit organization, World Vision, has been celebrated for its acclaimed child sponsorship program. For the next two years, Flexi Finance will sponsor 48 children under their care. The support will help provide for their basic life essentials, including education, health, and nutrition, between October 2018 and August 2019.

“Under our agreement with World Vision, P10 of every loan approved will go to some of the country’s most vulnerable children under World Vision’s care. A significant amount will be donated monthly,” said Katona.

Donations by Flexi Finance in excess of its monthly commitments to World Vision will moreover go to the latter’s Noche Buena and Back to School programs. This will give Noche Buena baskets for 2,400 vulnerable families around the country as well as school supplies kits for 3,600 children.

“Giving back to the community has always been the driving force behind Flexi Finance. Our partnership with World Vision has given us the opportunity to further materialize this commitment to provide concrete and long-term benefits to the most vulnerable Filipino families,” said Katona.

Founded in Cebu City last 2015, Flexi Finance aims to provide the market with accessible, affordable and fair consumer financing. It has been a member of the Profireal Group, a global financial family operating in several countries in Europe, since 2017.
