‘Pinoy Tasty’ and ‘Pinoy Pandesal’ to retain its prices throughout the Christmas Season

No price increases for Pinoy Tasty and Pinoy Pandesal this Christmas season, says the Philippine Baking Industry Group (PhilBaking), makers of famed affordable bread.

In a meeting presided by Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Secretary Ramon M. Lopez, PhilBaking expressed their commitment to retain the prices of Pinoy Tasty and Pinoy Pandesal at P35.00 per loaf and P21.50 per 10-piece pack, respectively, as a Christmas treat for the Filipino consumers.

The DTI welcomes this good news from the bread industry which came at perfect timing as the government continues to bring the prices of basic necessities and prime commodities down to reasonable levels.

Pinoy Tasty and Pinoy Pandesal are products of a joint project between the DTI and the bakers group which underscores the industry’s corporate social responsibility to provide accessible and affordable bakery products to the consumers. This project triggered the proliferation of many other reasonably-priced loaves and breads in the market.

Pinoy Tasty and Pinoy Pandesal are available in the entire Luzon archipelago and key cities in the Visayas region to sufficiently supply the demands and bread requirement of the Filipino masses.
