34 Overseas Filipinos in SG Pass Special Professional Licensure Exam

SINGAPORE 18 January 2019 — Ambassador to Singapore Joseph Del Mar Yap led the oath-taking ceremony on 20 December 2018 of Filipinos who successfully passed the Special Professional Licensure Examination (SPLE) conducted in Singapore on 24-26 August 2018.

Out of the 96 who qualified to take their respective licensure examination, 34 professionals passed or 32.64 percent of the total number of examinees.

The passers represented various professions, including three nurses, six master electricians, four veterinarians, four electrical engineers, one teacher, one environmental planner, one civil engineer, and 14 architects.

Ten of the successful examinees attended the special oath-taking ceremony held at the Philippine Embassy in Singapore. Witnessing the ceremony were Consul Gonaranao B. Musor, Labor Attaché Saul T. de Vries, and Welfare Officer Aniceta G. Cataran.
