I close this adversity-laden year with much gratitude for the triumphant resilient spirit of our kababayans.

Ang ating katatagan, malasakit sa isa’t-isa at pagpapahalaga sa ating pamilya at bansa ay nagbigay lakas, inspirasyon at pag-asa nang sama-sama nating ginampanan ang ating mgatungkulin at responsilidad upang itaguyod angating adhikain para sa sambayanang Pilipino na maginhawa, ligtas at maunlad.

I pray for us to usher in the New Year with renewed faith and solid dependence on God’s provisions, trusting in His promise that He only has plans to prosper us.
